Bounce House Rules & Safety

At TX Backyard Entertainment Party Rentals we want you to have an enjoyable and safe time while using our products. We ask that you please adhere to the rules and instructions below.


Inclement Weather

In case of heavy rain, Thunder Storms or wind speeds above 15 mph, please follow the instructions below immediately.

  • Have ALL RIDERS EXIT the inflatable.
  • Turn off the blower.
  • Disconnect the blower from the outlet.

Cancellation due to inclement weather conditions, get a store credit which can be used at any time in the future.


Safety Rules

  • Adult Supervision at at all Times.
  • Per Manufacturer Recommendations: 5 Riders at a time.
  • No Shoes inside Bounce House
  • No Phones or Tablets
  • No Facepaint or Jewelry
  • No Sharp Objects
  • No Eye Glasses
  • No Animals
  • No Food or Drinks
  • No Party Poppers or Silly String

A responsible adult must supervise the Bounce House at all times.

  • Our Bounce Houses size 13x13 can hold up to 8 Guests at a time with a total accrued maximum weight of 800lbs. Please ensure this is properly followed throughout the event.
  • No food, drinks or gum is to be allowed on or near the bounce house. Jumping and Food can lead to choking hazards. Also these items can damage the Bounce House. (Please note if the Bounce House is collected in a dirty condition or damaged you may be charged cleaning and, or repairing charges).
  • All shoes glasses, jewelry, badges MUST be removed before using the Bounce House.
  • No face paints, party poppers, streamers, silly string or ink based products to be used either on or near the inflatable. Silly String may result in you replacing the Bounce House.
  • No smoking or cooking equipment near the Bounce House.
  • IMPORTANT climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and is not allowed.
  • Try to avoid large and small children from using it at the same time.
  • Prevent horseplay, children should not be pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in away that may injure others.
  • Do not allow anyone to bounce in the entrance of the bounce house. The entrance is there to allow guests to safely go in and out of the Bounce House.
  • Do not allow anyone to be on the inflatable during inflation or deflation as this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
  • In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable is switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
  • In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. Check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, inform us immediately.

What is the maximum wind speed for a bounce houses?

  • Bounce Houses should be used if Wind Speeds are higher than 15mph. Please be cautious and pay close attention when windspeeds hit 15mph. If you notice swaying of trees or the inflatable, exit the inflatable and turn off the power. Our hope is that your event is both enjoyable and safe.
  • If the forecast for your event date shows winds of 15mph and higher we recommend you play close attention to the morning of your event. Cancellation due to inclement weather conditions, get a store credit which can be used at any time in the future.
  • If the bounce house will be placed on an open field please be extra mindful. High winds can occur at a faster rate.
  • Adult supervision is required at all times on inflatables.
